Why environmental and nature conservation education is so important
Many children – even those who live right on the edge of national parks – have never been to a park.
They often don’t know what natural treasures are hidden there. Most are only familiar with elephants, giraffes and zebras, but they know nothing about the diversity of other animals and plants in the protected areas.
Nature conservation begins with knowledge.
If you don’t know that there are wild dogs, pangolins or rare birds of prey, you can hardly understand why these species need to be protected. Those who do not know how important trees, clean water and healthy soil are often do not recognize their value.
This is why it is so important to sensitize children to topics such as nature conservation, habitat preservation and environmental awareness at an early age.
We like to teach children in Tanzania about the value of nature and how to protect it!
We like to show them:
- which animals live in the national parks,
- why these areas need to be protected,
- how nature functions as a cycle,
- and what each individual can do to preserve the environment.
Because only those who know nature will love it. And only those who love it will protect it.

🎒Donation package 1 – School package
Visit a school during your trip and personally hand over a package of urgently needed school materials. An unforgettable moment – for you and for the children!
The choice is yours:
- Small school package worth 67 euros
- Large school package worth 133 euros
A school package contains, for example: pencils, writing paper, pens, exercise books and much more.
It’s not just a gift of materials – it’s a gift of education, motivation and opportunities for the future.
🌳 Donation package 2 – Planting trees
Set an example for the future together with the STWWC (Save the Wildlife – Wildlife Corridors) team!
Plant 50 trees worth 133 euros and make an active contribution to environmental protection. The campaign lasts half a day and the schoolchildren will also be happy to help.
🐾 Donation package 3 – Nature conservation lesson
Fund a lesson on nature conservation for just 70 euros!
With your support, we can provide children with special lessons on wild animals, habitats and nature conservation. Be there live and experience how enthusiastically the children take part! In this way, you help to promote awareness and knowledge among the younger generation.
🐝 Donation package 4 – Bee box for wildlife conservation
Give the gift of a beehive for 55 euros!
Protect native species, promote sustainable beekeeping and support the prevention of human-elephant conflicts with bee fence projects. You can find more information about this important project here.
